Stirrup 247 SC Thiamethoxam (141g/L) and Lambda Cyhalothrin (106g/L), is an insecticide effective against thrips, aphids, caterpillars, and whiteflies. Thiamethoxam, a neonicotinoid, and Lambda-cyhalothrin, a synthetic pyrethroid, provide comprehensive pest control.

It has two active ingredients: Thiamethoxam (141g/L) and Lambda Cyhalothrin (106g/L)Thiamethoxam is a systemic insecticide, meaning it is absorbed by plants and circulated through the plant tissues. It works by targeting the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in the nervous system of insects. These receptors are responsible for transmitting nerve impulses, which are essential for the insect’s movement, feeding, and reproduction.

Thiamethoxam offers a rapid knockdown effect, where pests stop feeding shortly after coming into contact with or ingesting the pesticide. This quick action ensures effective pest control.

Lambda-cyhalothrin acts by disrupting the nervous system of insects. It targets and binds to sodium channels in the nerves, causing them to remain open. This results in continuous nerve stimulation, paralysis, and ultimately death in the insect.
