Foscap : Is a Nematicide for the control of nematodes in tomatoes and bananas.
Active Ingredient: Fosthiazate 100g/Kg + Abamectin 5g/Kg
Fosthiazate works by targeting the nematodes’ nervous system, specifically interfering with their cholinergic pathways. Once absorbed by or in contact with nematodes, the active ingredient causes paralysis and eventual death.
When ingested or absorbed through contact with their bodies, Abamectin binds to specific receptors in the pest’s nerve cells, blocking neurotransmitters that are crucial for transmitting signals between neurons.
