NIMBECIDINE is a neem-oil-based botanical insecticide containing Azadirachtin and other limonoids including Meliantriol, Salanin, Nimbin, and a host of other terpenoids in the ratio as it occurs naturally in neem.

Azadirachtin is Neem trees main agent for battling insects.
Azadirachtin is structurally similar to insect hormones called “ecdysones” which control the process of metamorphosis, in this case azadirachtin is an “ecdysone blocker” It blocks the insects production and release of the vital hormones for growth & reproduction. In addition to inhibiting growth, it also repels insects even at very small amounts.
