Bestox 100 EC

Bestox is an insecticide with non-systemic contact and stomach action for the control of thrips, aphids, bollworms, caterpillars, fruit flies, stalk borer and other foliar pests on a wide range of crops as indicated on the label.

Bestox 100 EC contains the highly active alphacypermethrin molecule as its active ingredient. Bestox® is a broad spectrum and highly active pyrethroid insecticide which acts on pests through contact and ingestion.

The rate of use is 10mls/ 20liters of water (0.5mls/lit) for all crops except wheat/barley which is 100mls/ha to control aphids at a very low spray volume. Bestox is also used to control soil pests such as cutworms. The rate for soil application is 120mIs/ha diluted in 250-300 litres of water.
